Niclas Nevenstam: Wisentic 30 Years – we've just started

December 18, 2024

I'm excited to announce that Wisentic is celebrating its 30th anniversary! Since our start in 1994, much has changed – including our name – but our mission has always stayed the same: to be a dynamic partner for insurance companies, pushing innovation in processes and technology. It’s been an incredible journey, and while we’ve achieved a lot, we’re confident this is just the beginning.

The insurance industry has seen major changes since we started. Digitalization, shifting customer expectations, and increased demands for transparency have constantly pushed us forward. I especially recall 2017, when GDPR became a reality, blocking new development but eventually creating entirely new opportunities. No matter the challenge, we’ve completed it pragmatically, working closely with our customers and partners to keep evolving.

Our solutions have simplified claims management and administration, but improving the customer experience has always been at our core. After all, we’re all policyholders, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to witness how much smoother processes run when we’re involved.

Yet, we’re far from done. Looking ahead, I see an exciting time for the insurance industry, especially from an innovation perspective. Automation and digitalization are now essential, but the opportunities AI brings allow us to take an even bigger approach forward, further transforming the industry.

We’re well-prepared for this evolution. We already have effective AI solutions in production delivering significant results, and we’ll continue to develop these. Our goal is to ensure we make our customers' operations simpler and more efficient, cementing our role as the go-to partner for insurance companies aiming to lead the digital transformation.

As we celebrate 30 years, I want to thank all our customers, partners, and colleagues who have been part of this journey. Your trust has been crucial to our success, and we look forward to embarking on the next chapter together.
